Our Journey to Net Zero

Carbon reduction targets achieved – and we’re not stopping there!

Posted on

We’re proud to share an important milestone in our sustainability journey: we have successfully achieved a key carbon reduction target ahead of schedule and are well on the way to hitting more.

Our carbon reduction plan sets clear targets to help us stay on track. Our Scope 1 & 2 carbon reduction targets are to reduce emissions by 42% by 2030.

Scope 1 has already been met and surpassed, down 43% from our baseline year in our latest report for 2024–2025.

Our Scope 2 target is down 40% , we are very nearly there!

This is a significant milestone in our sustainability journey and reflects more than numbers. It represents commitment, collaboration and meaningful action across our organisation. By turning climate goals into practical changes, we are reducing our environmental impact while building a more resilient and responsible business.

What We’ve Achieved

Through focused action and careful measurement, we have achieved real reductions in our carbon emissions. This has been driven by initiatives such as enhancing energy efficiency with solar power, using resources more wisely, and fostering sustainable ways of working across the organisation.

Reaching these targets demonstrates that our carbon reduction plan is delivering real results where we have the greatest level of control. Progress is possible when sustainability is embedded into everyday decisions.

Why This Matters

Meeting carbon reduction targets is a critical step towards long-term climate goals, including net zero. It also demonstrates accountability to our stakeholders, customers, partners and employees who expect real progress, not just ambition.

Beyond environmental benefits, many of these actions also support operational efficiency and long-term value, showing that sustainability and strong performance go hand in hand.

Looking Ahead

While this is a moment to celebrate, it is not the end of the journey. We will continue to build on this progress, maintain momentum and focus on further reductions across our operations as part of our ongoing commitment to carbon reduction.
